My dad has been the biggest inspiration in my life so far. He does a copious amount of things for me that I really appreciate. This essay will tell you why I think these things. If I am not boring you then keep on reading!
Firstly, he helps me get through tough academic times. One of the many examples is that when I had tests coming up then he would stay up all night if he had to. He would also have a positive attitude all day while working with me. One night I was very scared for the test the next morning so we talked and explained so me of our straggles. This taught me to study before the night before the test! I really hope I can be like him when I grow up some day!
Secondly, he has very high exactions for my brother and I. He puts us in all of the extras available. The expectation for school is that I have to get on Honor Role to keep my phone for that quarter. If I don’t make Honor Role then I get my phone taken away until I work hard enough to get it back. I have to work hard to get the things I want but that helps in the long run. I am going to do the same to my kids when I am a parent.
Finally, he helps me to improve my sports. One thing that I love is that he stays after practice with to improve my skills. I love this as much as a baby loves his blanket. He also gives me tips and tells me what I should keep doing in the games. My dad always makes time into his schedule to play with me. I feel superb every time I get to hang out with him.
My dad is very splendid and entertaining to hang out with and I continue loving him forever. My dad has inspired me to do many things and I hope I can inspire my kids the same as much as he does. Who inspires you to do the things that you do and think?
